Argyll and Bute Rape Crisis – Helensburgh office

Argyll and Bute Rape Crisis provides support services to survivors of rape and sexual abuse in the area. Their workers are trained extensively to support survivors, with survivors at the heart of what they do. As well as supporting survivors, they also support non-offending friends and family members, as they aware of the impact sexual trauma can have on those around the survivor.

Key and Community Lifestyles – Helensburgh office

Key supports disabled people of all ages. They believe that good support is essential for a good life and they work alongside each person they support, and their family, to help them life live to the full. They have a weekly Friday afternoon group in the main hall of the Hub from 1.15-3.15pm.

Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank

Helensburgh & Lomond Foodbank is an independent Foodbank run entirely by volunteers. All of the food issued is donated by the local community and shared with those in need within the local community. Anyone who finds themselves in a crisis, without food or money to buy food, is welcome to drop-in at a Foodbank session, there is no need to obtain a referral from any other agency.

Foodbank sessions at the Hub are: Mondays 10am-12pm and Thursdays 3-7pm (There is also a session at Howie Pavilion in Rosneath from 1-3pm)
