Boutis is an historical hand-stitched whitework that originates in the Languedoc region of France. The Association meets monthly on third Wednesday of each month, at the Hub, where members pursue both traditional and contemporary forms of work. New members, including beginners, are welcomed.

Every day is a learning day at the Hub! The Boutis embroidery group have exhibited their beautiful creations at the Scottish Quilting Show and at the Creative Craft Show, Glasgow, in March 2023
We think this might be the only Boutis embroidery groups in Scotland, possibly even the UK. One of the members came all the way from Dallas, Texas to take part in a gathering – now that’s dedication to the craft.
