Demystifying Death Week, 3 May

Demystifying Death Week is happening during the first week of May to give people across Scotland the chance to talk about death, dying and bereavement.

We think this is a really valuable thing to do so we have partnered with a charity called Pushing Up the Daises to host an evening of informal and relaxed discussion (with a cuppa and cake!) on Wednesday 3 May from 7-9pm.

Lin Carruthers and Kate Clark, trustees of Pushing Up the Daisies, will also be launching their book Slow Down When Someone Dies, which is a call to everyone, and particularly carers, to take time during the days after someone’s last breath to tend to their own longer term wellbeing.

Booking for the event is via Eventbrite – search for Demystifying Death Tour – or contact Hub
